The Friends of the Library was established in 1984 to help support the Library. The Friends purchase many items the library needs to help stretch the library's book budget. Current membership is about 30 people.

In February 2013, the Friends celebrated ten years as the proprietors of a used bookstore.

The store is staffed five days per week by volunteers. The bookstore is currently located at:
12th Avenue & Long St.
Sweet Home, OR

The Friends also do other fundraisers throughout the year. It is not a requirement to work in the bookstore. We try to fit talents, tasks, and people to the right job.
